Adams Rite 4530-36-201-628 Standard Duty Deadlatch with Flat Faceplate in Clear Anodized

    • Adams Rite 4530-36-201-628 DEADLATCH

    Adams Rite's 4530-36-201-628 normal duty deadlatch has a flat faceplate and is clear anodized. Maximum flexibility in traffic control is provided by the 4530 Series Standard Duty Deadlatch both during and after work hours. For hospitals, banks, shops, and other buildings that require unrestricted admission at certain hours and exit-only at other times, reversing the key when the bolt is fully retracted keeps the bolt and permits the door to remain free swinging with two-way traffic. The stile cutout for older MS1850 Deadlocks and 4250 Deadlatches with the identical backset fits properly in the 4530 series deadlatches without modification. However, they are not a comparable replacement for the MS Deadlock and do not offer the same level of absolute protection.    		Features:

    • Case is made of steel with corrosion-resistant plating that measures 1" x 5-13/16" x depth (depth varies by backset)

    • Uses any standard mortise cylinder with MS dimensioned cam
    • Faceplate measures 1-1/4" x 7-13/32"
    • Latchbolt is of metal with hardened steel internal pins and 1/2" x 1" x 1/2" throw
    • Mortised (4902) 2-5/8" strike size
    • Auxiliary Bolt is made of all metal for deadlocks latch bolt to prevent "loiding" or case-knife entry
    • Flat strike shape with standard jamb lip length
    • Standard strike furnished is 4902-01 for flat jamb where door closes flush or nearly flush
