In locations where the long-throw MS Deadlock cannot be employed, the 4070-10-313 series Deadlocks offer security for a typically projected bolt. The longest practicable throw for a normally projected bolt from a narrow stile is provided by this smaller 4070. It activates with a half key turn of any conventional mortise type cylinder or cylinder type thumbturn, and it projects or retracts the bolt with a 180 degree turn of the key or thumbturn. The bottom rail is not intended for use with this product. The lock will accept any common 1-5/32 key "mortise cylinder with a diameter from one or both sides. To fit, the cylinder needs a unique cam.
