Adams Rite 2190-311-102-32D DEADBOLT/DEADLATCH SATIN STAINLESS
For doors with aluminum stiles, the Dual Force 2190 Interconnected Deadbolt/Deadlatch offers access control and security. Fast, simple, and panic-proof exiting are made possible by the combination of latch and deadbolt abilities.
Function: The Dual Force 2190 combines the security of a deadbolt with the access control capabilities of a latch. The deadbolt (and deadlatch) are extended and retracted by the key from either side. For quick, simple, panic-proof evacuation, the exterior lever retracts merely the latch, while the inside lever simultaneously retracts the lock and latch. intended for doors that open outward.
Operation: Deadbolts and deadlatches are operated by a key or thumb-turn. When fitted with the interconnect feature, the inside lever retracts both. Only the outside lever retracts the latch. By rotating the key to retract the latch and sliding the holdback button on the faceplate down to hold and up to release, the latch holdback feature can be activated or deactivated. Without its particularly designed strike, which is supplied in the package, 2190 will not function.
