Silent Knight
Silent Knight Commercial Fire Alarm Systems
Silent Knight, a Honeywell brand based in Northford, Connecticut, has built commercial fire alarm and life-safety systems since 1961. The line targets small to mid-size buildings such as schools, offices, retail, and business complexes, and spans both intelligent addressable systems and cost-effective conventional systems, listed to UL and designed around NFPA 72 fire alarm code. JMAC Supply stocks Silent Knight panels, detectors, modules, communicators, power supplies, and notification equipment for new installations and service alike.
Addressable Fire Alarm Systems
Silent Knight addressable control panels, including the 5808, 5820XL, 6700, and 6808, identify each connected device by individual address, so a technician sees the exact point in alarm or trouble for faster diagnosis on larger or multi-building sites. They work with the SD500 and SD505 addressable devices: photoelectric smoke detectors, heat detectors, duct detectors, and monitor, control, and relay modules that bring conventional devices onto the addressable loop. For retrofits where running new cable is impractical, Silent Knight SWIFT wireless detectors and devices extend an addressable system without wiring.
Conventional Fire Alarm Systems
For smaller zoned buildings, Silent Knight conventional panels such as the SK-5208 pair with the SK series of devices: photoelectric smoke detectors (SK-Photo), heat detectors (SK-Heat), combination smoke and carbon monoxide detectors (SK-Fire-CO), manual pull stations (SK-Pull), and zone, relay, and monitor modules. These deliver reliable, code-compliant detection at a lower installed cost where intelligent addressing is not required.
Communicators, Power & Notification
Silent Knight communicators report alarm, supervisory, and trouble signals to a central station over digital, IP, and cellular paths and support remote access, while UL-listed power supplies provide regulated, battery-backed power for notification appliances and accessories. Voice evacuation and mass notification equipment delivers supervised emergency messaging, and annunciators give remote system status at entrances and lobbies.
