Electric Latch Retraction Retrofit Kits

SDC LR100 Series electric latch retraction kits enable electric access control and dogging of mechanical exit devices. When energized, the motor retracts the exit device latch and pulls the pushpad on most devices into the dogged (depressed) position, enabling momentary or sustained push and pull operation of the door.

The LR100FCK is a field install ELR kit for 36 inch First Choice 3600/3700 Series exit devices, and the LR100VDK, from the Quiet Duo product line, fits 36 inch to 48 inch Von Duprin 98/99 and 33/35 exit devices. The LR100FAK is a QuietDuo retrofit kit for Falcon Dor-O-Matic exit devices on a 36 inch opening, and the LR100DMK is a 36 inch kit for Dor-O-Matic. The kits retrofit select exit device brands without removing the device from the door, and for most other brands only removal of the latch head cover and end cover plate is required. The latch retraction mechanism may be activated by an access control, remote control device, or building automation system, and the exit device always provides uninhibited egress. Listed features include simultaneous latch retraction and dogging for most exit devices, a pushpad that is depressed electrically for quieter push/pull operation, automatic re-trigger if the device does not pull on the first try, and a 700 mA inrush current. The LR100FCK-EM, LR100VDK-EM, and LR100SGK-EM are versions for 30 inch openings.
