Surface Mount Electromagnetic Shear Locks

SDC HiShear surface mount and top jamb mount shear locks have a 2000 lb holding force. The 1561TJV top jamb mount lock in aluminum is surface mounted to the pull side of an in-swing door, for a metal door and frame, a glass door with top rail and metal frame, or a wood door and frame, and this mounting configuration eliminates the need for top jamb Z brackets normally associated with pull side mounting of magnetic locks.

The 1561TJVDB adds a door position sensor and a bond sensor, which indicates proper armature contact or reduced holding power due to improper armature contact or tampering, and the 1561SVD surface mount lock adds a door position sensor. The design uses a floating armature assembly and special alloy steel locking tabs that adjust vertically and laterally to compensate for wide door gaps and warped or misaligned doors, along with field adjustable shear stops, a door static sensor, and an automatic voltage sensing input of 650/350mA at 12/24VDC. The locks are UL, CSFM, and MEA Listed, with 628 anodized aluminum and 335 dull black finishes listed.
