Semi-Concealed Electromagnetic Shear Locks

SDC semi-concealed shear locks combine the 2000 lb Hi/Shear concealed electromagnetic lock with a surface mounted armature assembly: the mortise magnet is concealed in the frame and the armature is surface mounted on the door. They mount to the push side of an out-swing door, which places the lock on the secure side of the door opening, eliminating potential for tampering.

The 1562SCHDB pairs a 1562 lock with a 1/2 inch Herculite bracket in a 628 finish. Glass door bracket versions are listed for 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch Herculite full glass doors where no top rail is present, and door position switch versions are also listed. These locks have an automatic voltage sensing input of 650/350mA at 12/24VDC, field adjustable shear stops, and lateral and vertical alignment adjustment, and they are UL, CSFM, and MEA Listed.
