Heavy Duty Universal Electric Strikes

SDC UniFLEX 55 series heavy duty electric strikes are designed for installation in hollow metal frames for access control of cylindrical and mortise locksets and mortise exit devices. The choice of 6 application faceplates eliminates the need for centerline relocation in new or retrofit access control applications.

The 55-ABCU is a stainless steel universal strike for cylindrical locks, mortise locks without deadbolts, and mortise exit devices. It retrofits an existing ANSI 4-7/8 inch strike prep, is UL Listed 3 hour fire rated and burglary resistant, and has two deadlocking cams tested up to 2500 lbs. The series is field reversible failsafe/failsecure and non-handed, with an internally mounted solenoid and no heat in the keeper, dual voltage input of 600mA at 12VDC or 300mA at 24VDC, and SPDT dry contacts rated 5A at 30V. The strikes accept up to a 3/4 inch latchbolt and 1 inch deadbolt and meet ANSI/BHMA A156.31 Grade 1, with a UL tested static strength of 1500 lb, a dynamic strength of 70 ft-lb, and over 1,000,000 cycles.

For specific locks, the 55-AU is for ANSI centerline latch entry locksets, the 55-BU is for mortise locksets and mortise exit devices with or without a deadlatch below the latchbolt, the 55-DU is for mortise locksets with a deadbolt and a deadlatch below the latchbolt, and the 55-FU is for mortise locksets with a deadbolt and a deadlatch above the latchbolt. Finishes include stainless steel, dull brass, dull bronze, oil rubbed bronze, bright chrome, and dull chrome, with latchbolt monitor, door secure monitor, and left or right handed deadbolt monitor versions.
