Mini Delayed Egress Magnetic Locks

SDC Exit Check 1581S models are single mini delayed egress EMLocks with a holding force of 650 lbs, sized 10 x 2 x 2-3/8 inches.

The 1581SNDV uses tone and LED annunciation, with two distinct tones indicating unauthorized egress in progress and unlocked and a tri-color LED mode status indicator. It draws 320/500 mA at 24/12VDC on an auto sensing 12/24VDC input, has an emergency release input and locked and egress mode status outputs, activates by door movement or exit bar, and is UBC, California Building Code, OSHPD, NFPA 101, IBC and IFC compliant. Models in the line are UL, CSFM and MEA listed, with BHMA certified holding force and a UBC and California compliant manual power up.

The 1581SBDV is BOCA National Building Code compliant, the 1581SBDVD adds door position status, and the 1581SNCV is CBC compliant. Fixed delay versions include the 1581SNDX (NFPA 101, 15 second egress delay, 710 dark bronze) and the 1581SNHQ (NFPA 101, 30 second egress delay, 626 dull chrome), and finishes also include clear anodized aluminum, black anodized and bright brass. The 1581S-TC3 cable kit connects two locks through the frame header on a pair of doors, so pushing either door triggers the delayed release of both doors, and a 10 ft 1581S-TC10 cable is also listed.
