Most listings spell out the ANSI grade, function, lever or trim design, hand and finish, such as 626/US26D satin chrome, 630/US32D satin stainless steel or 613/US10B oil-rubbed bronze, and many are marked BAA qualified with a USA country of origin. Sargent 80 Series Exit Devices

Grade 1 80 Series exit devices include 8800 Series rim devices such as the 8888F exit only device with hex key dogging, the 8863F classroom function device, the fire-rated 12-8863F and the 48 inch 16-8810G with cylinder dogging and cylinder included. The 8900 Series mortise exit devices include the 8913F classroom device and the 5556-8940E with a J freewheeling/vandal resistant lever, electric latch retraction and a request to exit switch, and the 8700 Series covers surface vertical rod devices, with 670T top rod kits and 646 top strikes listed separately. Most are wide stile pushpad devices, in sizes such as 32, 36, 42 and 48 inches. The 8876F ETP rim device adds fail secure electrified trim for 33 through 36 inch doors, and the 3828 Series includes the 30 inch 3828E-ED rim exit device in black.

Exit Device Trim and Electric Latch Retraction

ET lever control trim includes the 70-776 ETL, a Grade 1 electrified fail secure trim (power off locks the lever, and the key retracts the latch) for 8700 and 8900 Series devices, and the 70-713-8 ETL classroom trim for rim (8800) and NB8700 devices, both SFIC prep less core. Pull trims include the 866 TP classroom/storeroom thumbpiece trim and the 810 GTB dummy pull trim. For electric latch retraction, the M56AF (F-rails) and M56AE (E-rails) motor kits fit devices made after 2006 and are sold less push rail, the 55-M56AF adds a signal switch, and the 52-4341 motor controller assembly and 52-1261 56-input harness are listed as service parts. The 855 universal retrofit signal switch kit and the 855-1 exit device insert and switch assembly for 30/80 Series devices are listed as well.

Sargent 8200 Series Mortise Locks

8200 Line lever mortise locks are Grade 1 and listed with a 2 hour fire rating, in functions such as 8215 passage or closet, 8204 storeroom or closet, 8237 classroom, 8255 office or entry, 8225 dormitory with deadbolt and the 8221 deadlock. The part number spells out the trim, for example the LE1 escutcheon with J lever (8237 LE1J), LN rose with B lever (8215 LNB) or WT escutcheon with L lever (8204 WTL), and 60- versions such as the 60-8237 LE1J are LFIC prep less core. Electrified models come from the 8270 Series, including the 8270 fail safe lock (24V) and the 8271 fail secure lock in 12V and 24V.

Mortise lock parts include 130KB thumbturn levers and the 130LB large ADA thumbturn lever, 185P occupancy indicators, 82-5263 latch assemblies for 8200/7800 locks, 694-1 BHW trim kits with inside and outside trims, TR-8215 trim packs and BP-8215 lock bodies, plus 578-2 spindle kits for 8100 Series locks made before 1/1/1990.

Sargent Bored and Cylindrical Locks

The 10 Line includes 10G05 entry/office locks such as the 28-10G05-LL-26D-LC (2-3/4 inch backset, less cylinder), 10G70/71 Series electrified lever locks such as the RX28-10G71-24V LL fail secure lock and the RX2870-10G71 fail secure cylindrical REX lock, and the 28-KP10G77 cylindrical keypad lock. The Grade 2 7 Line covers the 28LC-7G05 entrance/office, 28LC-7G04 storeroom/closet and 28-7U15 passage locks, listed to ANSI A156.2 Series 4000 Grade 2, and the 6500 Line adds Grade 2 locks such as the 28-65G05 KL entry lock. The DLU65 Grade 1 privacy tubular lock is also listed. Parts include 10-3186 guarded and 10-3187 unguarded 10-Line latches (2-3/8 inch backset), 11-2107 11-Line latch assemblies (2-3/4 inch backset), 10-Line lockbody assemblies with SFIC options and 06-5083 6-Line latches.

Sargent Door Closers and Holders

Grade 1 surface closers include the 281 Series (281-UO universal standard arm and 281-P9 standard parallel arm, with thru bolts), the 1431 Series (such as the 1431-PH10 heavy duty friction hold open parallel arm) and the 1130 Series, listed with a 3 hour fire rating and limited warranties from 15 to 25 years. The 1430-PS is a Powerglide heavy duty parallel arm closer with a positive stop at 85 to 110 degrees, the DA-351-UO is a universal delayed arm closer, and the 2499-120VAC is a Fireguard closer/holder. The 698H heavy duty overhead concealed mount holder fits 35-1/2 to 39-1/8 inch doors. Closer parts include 1431C and 351C covers, 25O arms for 351, 281 and 1431 closers, screw packs and the 63-3788 CPSH ball insert assembly.

Sargent Cylinders, LFIC Cores and Key Blanks

Key blanks include 6275 6-pin blanks in keyways such as RA, LA, LC, LE and RK, the 6270RD master section blank, XC key blanks (11-X6275-LA, 11-X6275-LB and 11-X6275-RB) and Signature key blanks such as the 10-S6275-RA. Cylinders include C10-1 lever cylinders for 10, 7, 6500 and 7500 Line locks in keyways including Schlage C, mortise cylinders in 1-1/8, 1-1/4, 2-1/2 and 3 inch sizes, C480-2 deadbolt cylinders for 485, 487 and 7500 locks, 124-41 turn knob cylinders and 13-3142 cylinder plugs. Sargent LFIC hardware includes 6300 cores, 65-6300 unassembled 6-pin cores, 6042 mortise housings and 6034 rim cylinder housings.

Mortise cylinder cams cover standard straight (13-0097), Corbin Russwin clover (13-0921), Adams Rite (13-0512), Schlage L (13-0938) and hotel function (13-2045) cam types, and the 435 key gauge is listed with Sargent tools.

Electrified Locks, Keypads and Access Control

Profile Series locks include the 60-G1-8278 PKB mortise lock with 125kHz proximity and keypad (LFIC less core) and the 28-KP10G77 keypad lock, and KP-8276 keypad mortise locks, 52-2299 keypads and the 52-6085 keypad controller replacement are listed as well. The 4293 wall prox card reader, IN120 Wi-Fi lock parts such as IN120-EM01 reader modules and the IN120-EM04 inside mounting kit, the IN220-EM03 PoE controller assembly, the LC-IN220-82278 PoE mortise lock with key override and 52-5373 door position switches round out the electronic side of the catalog.

Exit Alarms, Door Pulls and Other Hardware

The 550 exit alarm has a low battery alert and delay feature and comes in versions such as the 550-EP and the less cylinder LC-550-EN. Other hardware includes the 758 key retaining padlock with a 1 inch shackle, 862 and 863 offset door pulls (1 inch diameter, 10 and 18 inch CTC), the 988 surface bolt kit and the 809 Lexan touchpad for 80 Series devices.
