Surface mounting a button or a reader on block, glass or a metal frame means no back box to sink it into. These external mount metal enclosures solve that, listed for piezoelectric REX buttons in a mullion size and a US gang box size, each stating the buttons and mounting plates it accepts.

Mounting plates for mullion mounting are listed separately, along with plates for reader housings, so a reader and its exit button can share a finish on the same opening.
