Inovonics EN1243 EchoStream Wireless Smoke/Heat Detector

The EN1243 EchoStream wireless smoke/heat detector features an onboard sounder, a smoke and heat sensor, and an LED set and local test capability to allow the user total visibility of its functionality. It is self-monitoring, alerting the user when cleaning is needed or batteries are low, and automatically supervising the radio link.

The EN1243 smoke/heat detector includes two heat detection methods. The first, fixed heat detection, alarms when the temperature reaches 135 degrees Fahrenheit. The second measures rate of rise (ROR), alarming if the temperature increases at a rate of 15 degrees per minute from a starting temperature of 105 degrees Fahrenheit.
