The speakers and speaker-strobe devices from the Genesis WG4 Series are among the most adaptable of their kind. With an operating temperature range of as low as -31 F to as high as 151 F (-35 C to 66 C), they are suitable for a variety of wet and harsh environments and are rated for use indoors or outdoors.

Field-configurable light and sound output settings increase their on-site versatility, while optional FIRE or ALERT markings and colored lenses make them ideal for emergency communications / mass notification (ECS/MNS) and fire alarm applications.

These devices are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, and are ideal for challenging environments such as parking garages and industrial facilities. They are listed for mounting on the ceiling or the wall and can be installed to recessed (in-the-pour/block) electrical boxes thanks to an ingenious full backplane sealing gasket. WG4 signals are also compatible with surface boxes that are served by raceways. Color-matched optional trim skirts provide a polished appearance. All appliance wiring is performed in-room to facilitate installation.

Mylar-cone loudspeakers are highly audible and efficient in WG4 Series devices. These are dual-voltage (25.2V or 70.7V) and field-selectable between 80.8 dBA and 90.0 dBA output taps. The multi-candela strobes are available with clear or amber lenses and in standard and high-output configurations. Field-configurable for one of four candela intensities, they are precisely timed to meet UL 1971 synchronization standards. Even after installation, the wattage and candela settings are visible through an innovative sealed viewport display.
