Clutch system decreases stress on lock bodies and spindle by allowing lever rotation without retracting latch. Outside lever can turn freely when it is locked. Lever can retract latch by entering access code, key bypass, or remote bypass. Always instant exit from inside the lever.

All-metal keypad with 12 programmable buttons, group or individual user codes, master and management codes, passage and emergency or service codes, lockout and remote override capability, and entry time of 5 to 20 seconds. 4 The keyboard and other keypad tones can be muted.
All locks are equipped with standard key override cylinders, which are solid brass 6 pin tumbler cylinders pinned with a SC1 keyway. HW580 fits Schlage, Corbin/Russwin CL, Sargent 480 Series, and ASSA65-611; additional tailpieces are also included. Fits Ilco and Lori cylinders, model HW620.
MODELS OF CHANGEABLE CORE: Accepts 6 and 7 pin cylinders made by Best, Arrow, KSP, Medeco Keymark, and Kaba Peaks. For Yale, Medeco, Sargent, Corbin/Russwin CL, and Schlage, there are IC Core models as well. Lock Alarm IC Core is not included; a tailpiece is provided.
LATCHBOLT: UL Listed, 3 hours, 1/2 fire rating "Deadlocking, dead throw, solid brass, reversible. Front that can be adjusted for flat or beveled doors.
STRIKE: Includes 1-1/4" x 4-7/8" ASA strike and 1-1/4" x 1-1/8" T strike. For metal or wood jambs, with screws.
LATCH FRONT: Wrought brass or stainless steel, 1-1/8" x 2-1/4".

POWER: The provided 5 AA alkaline batteries are currently rated for 120,000 cycles. Visual and auditory entry signs, an audible low battery alert, and a special Flex Drive "motor.
