Potter Amseco security strobes provide a visual signal on their own or in combination with other signaling devices.

The SL-401 series are weather-proof 12V DC strobes rated at 60,000 candle power, with a low 115mA current draw and an operating life in excess of 200 hours of continuous operation. They are made from high impact resistant thermoplastic, flash 60 to 100 times per minute, and connect with two AWG #22 lead wires with reverse polarity protection. The SL-401C clear and SL-401B blue lens models are joined by amber and red versions.

The SL-5A series are high intensity, 160,000 candle power solid state strobes with a xenon flash tube, designed for applications where 360 degree visual annunciation is required. They draw 250mA at 24V DC, are polarized for connection to supervised circuits, and are recommended for areas such as parking facilities, schools, corridors, apartments, office buildings, restaurants, and hotels. Amber, blue, clear, and red lens versions and a no lens version are listed.
