Explosion-Proof Horns

The FHEX-24SMR is an explosion proof vibrating horn.

It produces a loud and distinctive tone by the electromechanical vibration of a diaphragm, and it is designed for alarm notification systems and compatible with fire alarm and suppression supervised control panels and power boosters. The horn operates on 24VDC and produces 100dB at ten feet, or 110dB at one meter. It is UL listed for Class I, Division 1, Groups C & D; Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F, and G; and Class III. The heavy duty, copper free cast aluminum housing is tapped for 3/4 conduit, sealed with red powder coat paint, and uses a stainless steel diaphragm, with an operating temperature range of -31°F to 150°F. It is UL and cUL Listed and CSA Certified.
