This group covers heavy-duty notification for industrial and hazardous locations: PowerTone amplified and high output speakers, explosion-proof horns and strobes, explosion-proof horn and strobe combinations, and an explosion-proof manual pull station.

The ASHP-24SMR PowerTone amplified speaker produces its tone from a small solid-state plug-in card, uses spun aluminum for both the projector and speaker cone, and houses its circuitry and tone card in a sealed, dust- and moisture-proof die-cast aluminum chassis with integrated gain control. It is NEMA 3 rated, runs on 24 VDC, and is polarized for connection to system-supervised alarm notification circuits, and the U-TC universal tone card is field selectable to the desired tone. For hazardous areas, the FHEX horn is UL listed for Class I, Division 1, Groups C & D, Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F, and G, and Class III; the FSEX-CPG-HI strobe has a Type 4X, IP66 enclosure and is UL1971 Listed and CSFM Approved; and the MPEX pull station is designed for use in Class I, II, and III hazardous areas.
