The Notifier FZM-1 is an intelligent addressable monitor module designed to interface with and power compatible two-wire conventional smoke detectors. It supervises either a Style D (Class A) or Style B (Class B) circuit and requires an external resettable 24 VDC power supply for detector operation.
The module reports the status of its initiating device circuit to the control panel through regular polling. It mounts to a 4-inch square electrical box, features rotary address switches for direct-dial addressing, and includes a panel-controlled status LED. The FZM-1 is compatible with Notifier ONYX Series and other intelligent fire alarm control panels using FlashScan or CLIP protocol.
