Kantech Door Controllers

The KT-400 is an Ethernet-ready 4-door controller for new or existing EntraPass systems. It uses 128-bit AES encryption for all communications with EntraPass and can operate independently without a host PC or server in standalone mode. The KT-1 is a one door IP controller in a single gang mount, the KT-4 is a 4-door networked controller for up to 100,000 users with 16 onboard monitored inputs and 4 Form C relay outputs, and the KT-2-M is a two-door IP controller supplied in a metal cabinet. ioSmart and ioProx Readers, Cards and Fobs

ioSmart credentials use MIFARE Plus 2K smart cards: the MFP-2KKEY keytag, the printable MFP-2KDYE card for dye sub printing and the MFP-2KSHL clamshell card. Multi-technology readers such as the KT-MUL-MT mullion and KT-SG-MT single gang models also read 125 kHz ioProx and HID credentials, and Gen 2 versions such as the KT-SG-SC2 and KT-MUL-MT2 are listed too. For gates and parking, the P82WLS 2-button ioProx transmitter works with the P700WLS receiver at up to 150 ft, the P84WLS adds 4 buttons, and the MFP-2KWLS2 ioSmart transmitter operates at 433 MHz with a range of up to 200 feet. T.Rex Request-to-Exit and Exit Control

The T.Rex request to exit detector is an alternative to installing an exit button. The TREX-LT includes tamper and timer, the TREX-XL adds a piezo, and the TREX-LT2 and TREX-XL2 carry 2 relays. Exit control and accessories also include the PB-EXIT push button, the USB-485 USB to RS-485 interface, VC-485 converters and KT-BATT-12 batteries.

EntraPass Software and Licenses

EntraPass software comes in Special, Corporate and Global editions, with licenses for wireless lock doors, EntraPass GO PASS mobile credentials for Android and iOS, concurrent EntraPass WEB sessions and Active Directory (LDAP) integration, plus KAP tokens and the embedded network communication controller.

Kits, Enclosures, Badging and More

All in one solutions bundle controllers, power, batteries, readers and software into starter, expansion and multi-door kits, alongside enclosures and mounting plates such as the KT-MP400 for KT-400-PCB and KT-NCC-PCB boards and INTEVO access and CCTV appliances. Wireless locks cover Aperio cylindrical, mortise and rim exit device locks, where each AH30R12 requires one VC-485 per loop. Badging kits pair Fargo card printers with a webcam, and telephone entry systems scale up to 1152 lines per system with the KTES-5000MC.
