The First Alert VISTA H3 (VISTAH3) is a hybrid intrusion and fire alarm control panel from Resideo designed for residential properties, multi-dwelling buildings, and small commercial facilities. The panel supports 64 total protection zones, with 8 onboard hardwired zones and 56 built-in PROSiX wireless zones. Its integrated PROSiX receiver communicates with compatible two-way wireless security devices using 128-bit AES encryption. Hardwired zone capacity can be expanded to 64 using up to eight VISTAHEXPHW expansion modules, subject to total system limits. The control panel also supports four independently configurable partitions, 100 user codes, 32 wireless key fobs, and a 10,000-event history, allowing separate areas and users to be managed through one security system.

The VISTAH3 features built-in Ethernet communication and four internal expansion module slots for optional cellular, Wi-Fi, Z-Wave, and wireless takeover capabilities. Compatible PROLTE-A and PROLTE-V modules provide AT&T or Verizon LTE communication, while the PROWIFI and PROWIFIZW modules add wireless networking and optional home automation functions. The panel supports up to 24 keypads, including 8 hardwired keypads, 8 wireless keypads, and 8 wireless touchscreens. Optional Z-Wave integration supports up to 78 automation devices, including lighting controls, thermostats, door locks, and garage door controllers. Compatible wireless touchscreen keypads also support two-way voice communication and Bluetooth-enabled hands-free disarming when properly configured.

The VISTA H3 hybrid security system supports existing wired and wireless security equipment through optional takeover and conversion modules. The VISTAHTKVRWL wireless takeover module provides compatibility with supported Honeywell 5800 Series, 2GIG, Interlogix/Qolsys, Bosch, and DSC wireless sensors. The VISTAHTKVR-B module connects compatible legacy ECP devices, while the VISTAHTKVR-V module enables V-Plex sensor integration. The system supports up to 16 compatible two-wire smoke detectors or 64 four-wire smoke detectors, subject to approved wiring configurations and device compatibility. Installers can configure zones, manage peripherals, perform diagnostics, and update system settings through AlarmNet 360. Compatible Total Connect 2.0 services provide remote arming, disarming, system notifications, and supported smart home controls.

The First Alert VISTAH3 control panel features a metal enclosure measuring approximately 10.12 inches wide x 12.28 inches high x 3.4 inches deep. The panel operates with a 14.3 VDC, 2.65A power adapter and supports 12V backup batteries ranging from 4Ah to 35Ah, with battery capacity selected according to standby power requirements. Electrical outputs include 950 mA maximum auxiliary power and a 12 VDC, 2A maximum alarm output. Its manufacturer-listed certifications include UL 985 for household fire warning, UL 1023 for household burglary, UL 2610 for commercial premises security, and ANSI/SIA CP-01 false alarm reduction compliance. The VISTAH3 is the United States configuration of the VISTA H3 platform, while the VISTAH3CN is intended for Canadian installations. Optional communication modules, expansion hardware, keypads, and compatible peripherals are selected separately according to system requirements.
