The First Alert PROA7-FA by Resideo is a 7-inch all-in-one wireless touchscreen security control panel designed for residential and small business alarm systems. The First Alert PROA7-FA ProSeries All-in-One Security Panel combines intrusion detection, wireless device management, and touchscreen system control in a compact platform for residential and small commercial applications. Manufactured by Resideo and based on the Honeywell Home ProSeries security system architecture, the panel features a 7-inch LED-backlit capacitive color touchscreen with 1024 x 600 resolution. Its integrated security controller, microphone, speaker, and 85 dB audible alarm provide local arming, disarming, emergency notification, and system status functions. The panel supports up to 250 security zones, 96 users, and four independently configurable partitions, including a common-lobby option for applications requiring multiple protected areas. A 4,000-event history provides access to alarm, system, and user activity records.

The PROA7-FA incorporates Resideo ProSiX two-way wireless security technology, communicating with compatible encrypted sensors and peripherals using 2.4 GHz radio communication and AES-128 encryption. Supported devices include ProSeries door/window contacts, motion detectors, glassbreak detectors, smoke and carbon monoxide detection devices, wireless keypads, and remote key fobs, subject to model compatibility. The system supports up to eight wireless keypads and 32 remote key fobs, along with remote sensor supervision, RF interference detection, device tamper monitoring, and low-battery notifications. When properly equipped and activated, the system supports cellular or Wi-Fi alarm reporting, remote services through Resideo Total Connect, and compatible smart home automation devices such as lighting controls, thermostats, electronic door locks, and garage door controllers. The optional Z-Wave Plus integration supports up to 78 compatible automation devices, while Total Connect services provide remote arming, disarming, notifications, and event access according to the installed communication equipment and service subscription. An internal 3.6V, 7,500mAh rechargeable lithium-ion backup battery provides up to 24 hours of standby operation under the manufacturer's specified conditions.
