The Honeywell OmniProx Mini-Mullion Proximity Card Reader (OP10HONS) is a compact, decor-friendly access control reader that supports 125 kHz HID® compatible proximity credentials. Designed for both indoor and outdoor mullion mounting, it offers robust performance in a slim footprint. Three interchangeable bezels (black, charcoal gray, ivory) allow the reader to blend into different environments. Built of rugged polycarbonate with a fully potted design, it is resistant to weather and tampering.
Ideal for mullion-mounted installations on door frames, glass panels, or narrow surfaces, especially where aesthetics matter. Commonly used in commercial buildings, offices, campuses, and clinics where low-profile readers are preferred. It supports both new installations and retrofits where space is limited.
Compared to larger OmniProx models like the OP30 or OP40, the Mini-Mullion provides a smaller footprint with slightly reduced read range. For vandal-prone areas, the OP90 Vandal Resistant version offers added durability, while the OP40 fits into standard U.S. single-gang electrical boxes.
