Bar Code

Honeywell Bar Code Readers

Bar code badges predate proximity in many buildings, and plenty of schools, factories and hospitals still print them because the badge stock costs almost nothing and the cards can be replaced on the spot.

The reader listed here is a bar code swipe reader that reads virtually all existing bar code cards, housed in a rugged water resistant enclosure for a doorway or gatehouse rather than an office desk.

For a site moving off bar code, proximity readers cover contactless cards and OmniClass readers cover smart credentials, and keypads are the card free option.
