Electric Strikes

Industrial Grade Electric Strikes

A strike is chosen by what it has to release. These are listed for cylindrical locks, mortise locks and mortise exit devices, with separate lines for rim exit devices using a swinging Pullman style latchbolt and for rim panic devices using a PK keeper.

The 310 Series is fire-rated for 3 hours in all stainless steel, rated at 500,000 cycles, non-handed, fail secure as standard with a plug-in connector and a five year limited warranty, and a vertical surface mounted version covers single or double doors. The 700 Series suits hollow metal frames, with a horizontally adjustable keeper on the 712 at 1/2 inch keeper depth and full keeper shims with deadlatch tabs on the 742-75 at 3/4 inch, both rated 1,500 pounds static and 70 ft pounds dynamic.

After the series, three things finish the part number: voltage at 12VDC or 24VDC, fail secure or fail safe operation, and finish in 630 satin stainless steel or 627 satin aluminum. Monitoring is added the same way, with latchbolt and locking cam monitor switches marked in the suffix, and bodies are listed with no faceplate option where the faceplate is ordered to suit the frame.
