The Farenhyt IDP-PHOTO-R-IV is an intelligent, low-profile photoelectric smoke sensor in an ivory finish, specifically designed with remote test capabilities. It is intended for use with compatible duct smoke detector housings, including the DNR and DNRW series.

The unit connects via a two-wire SLC and features rotary decimal address switches alongside dual bi-color LEDs for local status indication. Sensitivity can be programmed from the FACP software, and the detector continuously monitors and reports its status to the panel.
