The Farenhyt IDP-FIRE-CO-W is a white, plug-in addressable device engineered for both fire and carbon monoxide (CO) detection. The detector integrates four separate sensing elements — smoke, CO, light/flame, and heat — enabling enhanced sensitivity to actual fires while reducing nuisance alarms caused by non-fire particulates.

An electrochemical sensing cell provides a separate signal for life safety CO detection. When paired with a B200S series intelligent sounder base, the unit supports distinct audible signaling patterns for fire and CO events. Sophisticated algorithms maximize the advantages of all four sensor types, creating a detection strategy with heightened immunity to nuisance sources. The IDP-FIRE-CO-W is fully compliant with UL 268 7th edition, UL 521, and UL 2075 standards.
