Farenhyt IDP-FIRE-CO-IV Advanced Multi-Criteria Detector, Ivory

The Farenhyt IDP-FIRE-CO-IV is an ivory, plug-in addressable device that provides both fire and carbon monoxide (CO) detection. It combines four separate sensing elements — smoke, CO, light/flame, and heat — to sense multiple components of a fire. This multi-criteria approach enables enhanced sensitivity to real fires with heightened immunity to nuisance particulates.

For CO detection, the unit's electrochemical sensing cell creates a separate signal for life safety carbon monoxide monitoring. When used with a compatible B200S series intelligent sounder base, the detector generates separate audible signals: a Temp 3 pattern for fire alarms and a Temp 4 pattern for CO alarms. The IDP-FIRE-CO-IV meets UL 268 7th edition and UL 521 listing requirements for fire detection, as well as the UL 2075 standard for system-connected life safety CO detection.
