Farenhyt IDP-CONTROL Addressable Notification Module

The Farenhyt IDP-CONTROL is an addressable notification module for use with Honeywell Farenhyt Series fire alarm control panels. It provides supervised monitoring of wiring to load devices that require an external power supply to operate, such as bells, horns, and strobes. The module supports both Class B (Style Y) and Class A (Style Z) wiring configurations.

Upon command from the FACP, the IDP-CONTROL disconnects supervision and connects the external power supply across the load device. This disconnection provides a positive indication to the panel that the control relay has activated. The external power supply is always relay-isolated from the SLC loop, ensuring that a trouble condition on the power supply will never interfere with the rest of the system.

The module mounts directly into a 4-inch square electrical box with a minimum depth of 2-1/8 inches and features rotary address switches for fast installation, a panel-controlled status LED, and an attractive ivory cover plate.
