Security and Automation Control Boards

The Gold control board carries 16 on-board zones and reaches a maximum of 208 zones with expanders, supports up to 144 wireless zones and provides a two-way listen-in interface. Boards are listed on their own and as kits, and a two-way wireless kit is listed with a control board, wireless transceiver, 4-button keyfob, keypad, enclosure, 8 Ah battery, AC transformer, interior speaker, in-line telephone surge protector and telco jack and cord, which covers a whole install in one order. Keypads, Expanders and Communicators

Keypads run from a blue and white LCD keypad with 4 programmable function keys and menu navigation keys, through low profile LCD versions, to an LED keypad arming station that fits a single gang box with three status LEDs and a backlit face. Expanders include a 16 zone input expander that adds EOL supervised hardwired zones, with up to twelve usable at once, and a 16 output expander with voltage and relay outputs. Networking and communications cover an Ethernet device server with an RS-232 serial port that puts the control on a network over TCP-IP, a dual path LTE alarm communicator, a 319.5MHz wireless receiver and a data bus hub that accepts up to 9 Cat5 or Cat6 cables. Wireless Sensors and Detectors

Wireless devices use ELK two-way technology, including a low-profile window sensor for double hung and casement windows in wood or vinyl with a built-in reed switch, a two-way smoke and heat detector with a photoelectric sensor and built-in sounder, an outdoor door and gate sensor at 319.5MHz and window and shock sensors.

Relays, Timers and Voice Modules

The 912B is a heavy duty 12VDC relay module with Form C contacts, low current draw and large cross-head terminals, and a sensitive relay module is listed for 12 and 24 VDC. The 960 delay timer is a general-purpose timer with thumb-wheel adjustment between 1 and 60 seconds and positive or negative trigger logic, and the ELK-120 is a four-channel driver supporting 2 channels of siren and 2 of voice, or 4 of voice, recordable up to 8 minutes.

Batteries, Power and Surge Protection

Sealed lead acid batteries are listed at 12V in 8AH and 18Ah with .187 inch F1 Faston terminals, leak proof and fully rechargeable for emergency lights, exit signs and uninterrupted power supplies, with a battery tester and a supervised remote power supply and battery charger alongside. Surge protection covers telephone and low voltage line protectors that react in less than 1 nanosecond and self-restore after each surge. See surge suppressors.

Structured Wiring and Install Accessories

Structured wiring boxes house a security control alongside telephone, CATV and network components, listed in 14 inch square and 28 by 14 inch sizes with combination knockouts for conduit and an AC power J-box, with surface and flush mount doors, a battery shelf for up to an 8 Ah battery, circuit board glides, nylon standoffs, adapter plates and a mounting rail.
