Digital Watchdog Recorders and Servers

Which recorder a site needs follows from the cameras. Coax cameras go on a DVR, network cameras go on an NVR, and Digital Watchdog covers both ends with separate product lines.

VMAX DVRs record universal high definition over coax, taking all HD formats and all analog down to 960H in H.264, in 4, 8 and 16 channel versions with storage from 1TB to 8TB fitted. They pair with the Star-Light Plus cameras.

Blackjack rackmount servers are the NVR side, listed as E-Rack and P-Rack units up to 128 channels with 36TB of storage, for the MEGApix IP cameras.

SiteWatch and NightWatch is the detection layer that tells a recorder something happened: laser sensor detectors, dual tech PIR and microwave motion detectors, and infrared and white light illuminators. Browse the full Digital Watchdog catalog. Contact our team with your camera count and retention target and we can size the recorder.
