Detex Alarmed Paddle Exit Control Lock

The ECL-230D is a battery-powered exit control lock with a 1-inch deadbolt and a 100 dB exit alarm for secondary exit doors. It withstands more than 2,200 lb of outside pull force, accepts 5- through 7-pin standard and interchangeable-core rim cylinders, and uses a photoluminescent push plate to identify the exit in low light. Locking or unlocking the deadbolt arms or disarms the alarm, resetting an activated alarm takes the control key, and the alarm runs on 1 included 9-volt battery.

It is non-handed, installs on wood, hollow metal or aluminum doors 1-3/4 to 2-1/4 inches thick, and fits doors as narrow as 20 inches. Detex lists it as UL Listed panic hardware and ANSI/BHMA Grade 3. The ECL-230D BLACK and ECL-230D W-CYL are the black and with-cylinder versions.
