Motorized Latch Retraction Kits

A latch retraction kit converts an existing exit device to electric dogging, so the latch pulls back on a signal instead of by hand. Kits are listed against the device they fit, including Von Duprin 33/35 and 98/99, Sargent 80, Falcon 16/1790 with First Choice 3600/3700, Adams Rite 8000, Yale 6000, Corbin 4000/5000, Marks M8800 and Kawneer Paneline at 24 to 28 VDC, with request to exit versions listed separately. Electrified Locks

Locks are listed the same way, by the lock body they retrofit. Cylindrical locks are listed as electrified fail secure at 11-30 VDC with request to exit and a choice of lever, and mortise locks are listed as chassis only or as complete retrofit kits for Schlage and Sargent bodies, at 12V and 24V, with latch bolt monitoring and request to exit options. Energy Transfer Hinges

Power has to cross the gap between frame and door, and an energy transfer hinge does it inside the hinge. These are listed at 4 by 4 inch and 4-1/2 by 4-1/2 inch, 5 knuckle standard weight, by wire count and gauge, with 4-wire at 26 gauge and versions carrying two 18 gauge and two 26 gauge conductors with a 48 inch lead, in satin chromium plated, satin chrome and stainless finishes.

Power Supplies and Modules

Latch pullback draws a high inrush current, which is why the power supplies here have boost circuitry, listed for up to 2 electric latch pullback devices at 1.5A 24V continuous with a 2.5A boost, linear design, solid-state I/O and UL 294 6E and CSA listing. The patented power booster module interfaces between the solenoid circuit of a latch-pullback exit device and the power supply, and current reduction units condition the line. Door Loops and Testers

Concealed door loops press fit into the door and frame edge and carry no wires of their own, in aluminum and with black anodized caps, with surface mount loops carrying a field sizeable cable. Field testers are listed for Dewalt, Milwaukee and Makita tool batteries so an installer can power a device on the bench. See power transfers.
