The Arrow APL02 is a Grade 1 cylindrical privacy lock with an integrated red/green occupancy indicator that shows at a glance whether the door is locked or unlocked, reducing interruptions on interior privacy doors in commercial and institutional facilities. The mechanical indicator updates automatically with the position of the lock.
The non-handed lockset meets ANSI/BHMA A156.2 Grade 1 for strength and durability, fits 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" doors (factory set for 1-3/4"; spacers required on 1-3/8" doors), and installs in a standard 2-1/8" (54 mm) bore with through bolts. A stainless steel 1/2" (13 mm) throw UL Listed spring latch is standard, with 2-3/4" (70 mm) or 2-3/8" (60 mm) backset options.
Order by lever style (BRT, ST, or TT), finish, strike, and backset: four architectural finishes from Bright Brass (605) to Black Suede Powder Coat (BSP), and ANSI, T-strike, or full lip strike options cover most frame preps. Every APL02 is backed by a 3 year manufacturer warranty.
