The Von Duprin 98EO-4-313 is a rim exit device designed for single and double doors with a door length of 2'10" to 4'. The unit is equipped with a smooth mechanism case and no outside trim. The device features a dark bronze finish.



The 98 series rim exit devices are for all types of single and double doors with mullion, UL listed for Panic Exit Hardware. Devices are ANSI A156.3 2001 Grade 1. The 98 device has a smooth mechanism case. The rim device is non-handed except when the following device options are used: SD (Special Dogging), -2 (Double Cylinder) or SS (Signal Switch).

The Von Duprin 98EO-313-4 series of Exit Devices are well built from a heavy gauge rolled steel section and feature the tried-and-true heavy-duty touch bar mechanism that has been used so successfully in all architectural grade Von Duprin touch bar devices. It is suitable for all types of single and double doors with mullions. The more affordable option is the 98 Rim panic exit device, which features a contemporary touch bar style and hardware that is UL approved for panic escape hardware. It is intended primarily for usage in environments where frequent abusive treatment is to be anticipated. On the door's egress side are touch bar exit mechanisms placed. These gadgets have a push bar region for escape and an enclosed mechanism case.
