Interlogix NX-8 NetworX 8-Zone Security Control Panel

The Interlogix NetworX NX-8 is an 8-zone hybrid security control panel expandable to 48 hardwired and/or wireless zones. It supports up to 8 independent partitions, 99 user codes, a 512-event history log, and 4 programmable outputs. The panel also supports 2-wire and 4-wire smoke detectors, SIA and Contact ID reporting formats, and modular expansion for residential and commercial intrusion systems.

The Interlogix NetworX NX-8 is a modular hybrid intrusion control panel designed for residential and commercial security systems requiring both hardwired and wireless expansion. The panel provides 8 onboard hardwired zones expandable to as many as 48 fully programmable hardwired and/or wireless zones. Compatible zone expanders and wireless receivers allow installers to increase system capacity while retaining the central NX-8 control platform.

The NX-8 supports up to 8 true partitions and 99 programmable user codes, allowing separate areas of a property to operate with individual account codes, entry and exit delays, and system features. A 512-event history log records information including event type, date, time, and user number. Four programmable outputs can activate compatible external devices in response to alarms and other programmed system events.

The control panel supports SIA and Contact ID alarm communication formats as well as 2-wire and 4-wire smoke detector configurations. A built-in 2-tone siren driver provides steady and yelp outputs, while compatible NetworX modules add functions such as wireless reception, relay outputs, TCP/IP communication, cellular communication, automation interfaces, and additional system power. Local programming can be performed from compatible alphanumeric keypads, with DL900 software providing supported remote programming capability.

The Interlogix NX-8 operates from a 16.5 VAC, 40 VA transformer and provides up to 1 A of auxiliary power. The standard enclosure measures approximately 11.3 x 11.3 x 3.5 inches and is rated for operation from 32 F to 120 F (0 C to 49 C). Its 48-zone capacity, 8-partition architecture, modular expansion capability, fire-device support, and programmable outputs make the NX-8 suitable for legacy NetworX installations requiring replacement, expansion, or continued system support.
