The Honeywell Silent Knight 6820 is an intelligent addressable fire alarm control panel supporting up to 1,110 SK-protocol points or 635 SD-protocol points. It includes 1 expandable signaling line circuit, 6 Flexput notification or auxiliary-power circuits, a 6 A power supply, built-in IP and POTS alarm communication, SWIFT wireless compatibility, and networking capability for connecting up to 17 fire alarm control panels.

The Honeywell Silent Knight 6820 is an intelligent addressable fire alarm control panel designed for medium-to-large commercial fire detection and notification systems. The panel provides capacity for up to 1,110 System Sensor SK-protocol points or 635 Hochiki SD-protocol points through expandable signaling line circuits. One built-in SLC supports up to 159 SK detectors plus 159 SK modules, or up to 127 SD-protocol devices, with additional SLC expanders increasing total system capacity.

The 6820 incorporates 6 onboard Flexput circuits and a 6 A power supply for notification appliance circuits or auxiliary-power applications. The Flexput circuits can be configured as 6 Class B circuits or 3 Class A circuits and provide up to 3 A per circuit without exceeding the panel's 6 A combined output capacity. The panel also provides 2 programmable Form C relays, 1 fixed Form C trouble relay, 999 programmable software zones, and 999 output groups for flexible fire alarm system configuration.

Integrated communications include a built-in digital alarm communicator/transmitter with IP and POTS reporting, while optional cellular communication provides an additional reporting method. A common communications and annunciation link connects up to 17 compatible panels over copper or fiber-optic cabling, allowing a designated panel to provide single-point communications for the linked system. The 6820 also supports up to 24 SBUS devices, including as many as 16 remote annunciators, and is compatible with Honeywell SWIFT wireless fire detection devices when using SK protocol.

The Silent Knight 6820 supports Class A and Class B circuit configurations, automatic detector drift compensation, NFPA 72 sensitivity testing, and a 1,000-event history buffer. Programming can be performed through the panel interface, JumpStart auto-programming, USB connection, or Honeywell Fire Software Suite (HFSS). The panel complies with UL 864 10th Edition requirements, is UL Listed and FM Approved, and is designed for commercial fire alarm applications requiring expandable detection, notification, communications, and networked panel capacity.
