Securitron PDB-8C1R Eight-Output Power Distribution with Fire Trigger Relay

The Securitron PDB-8C1R is an eight-output power distribution with a fire trigger/relay. The unit splits a main DC power source into eight Class 2 power limited outputs. Each output is individually configurable for Normally On or Normally Off and can change state in response to an alarm condition from either or both supervised triggers, or can remain in its native state.

The AccuPower PDB-8C1R is an incredibly robust Power Distribution Board (PDB) that has configurable options and multiple triggers. Reliability is important when installing components for emergency situations, and Securitron has created a quality component that is UL 294 recognized, and backed with the MagnaCare lifetime replacement, no fault warranty.

 

The PDB-8C1R has eight incredible Class 2 Power Limited outputs with PTC circuit breakers and removable terminal blocks that make connection simple. The board can be used anywhere thanks to an 11 to 28 VDC universal input. There are 90 to 160 mA per relay, with 1.23 Amps maximum per output. The form "C" contacts are 2 Amps each, the PTC outputs 1.6 Amps, and there is a 15 Amp transfer relay.

 

The eight outputs allow you to split a DC power source into multiple directions, and each output can be separately configured for Normally On or Normally Off. They can either remain in their normal state, or make a change based on an alarm condition from either or both of the triggers that they supervise. There is an end-of-line resistor trigger, and an optically isolated trigger based on voltage or reverse polarity. You can monitor each of the outputs as well as the main input power via the convenient LED indicators. These alongside the form "C" contacts will show the trigger status and keep you apprised of any serious situations.

 

The board is 3.88" high, 4.84" wide, and 0.75" deep. The mounting is 3.41" high by 4.5" wide. The board ships at 1 lb, or 0.45 kg.
