Securitron PDB-1R Fire Trigger/Relay Interface Board

The Securitron PDB-1R is a fire trigger relay that triggers power transfer in an alarm situation. The unit uses an end-of-line resistor to trigger a form "C" contact in response to a fire system alarm condition.

In response to the trigger, the PDB-1R transfers power from the "Normally On" output to the "Normally Off" output. Additional triggered reactions include status feedback to fire control or annunciation systems, ground fault trigger and input trigger that latches until reset.

It’s important for access control systems to have emergency system triggers to protect the inhabitants of a building as well as the building itself. It can be used anywhere with a universal 11 to 29 VDC input and is compact at 2.23" wide, 3.75" long and 0.8" high, with a 3.41" high and 1.89" wide mounting dimension. If there is a fire system alarm condition, it will trigger a form "C" contact using an end-of-line resistor and transfer power from "Normally On" output to "Normally Off." It will also react to fire control or annunciation systems with status feedback and it will latch until reset. It can detect a ground fault, which also causes an output trigger. It has Normally Closed override, Normally Closed Auxiliary trigger inputs and will report the status if any faults are triggered.

There are convenient LED indicators that will show which output is on at the time. The board also has a jumper configuration that can provide ground supervision.
