The Rosslare AC-G43 is a standalone, outdoor-rated PIN access control keypad designed for single-door security applications. Supporting up to 500 users and programmable 4-8 digit PIN codes, it features a red-backlit 12-key keypad, three security modes, and two programmable Form C relay outputs rated at 2A each. The controller operates on 12-24 VDC or 16-24 VAC and includes request-to-exit and auxiliary inputs, optical tamper detection, and dual tri-color status LEDs. Its IP65-rated, UV-resistant polycarbonate housing supports narrow-mullion mounting at indoor and outdoor commercial entrances.

The Rosslare AC-G43 Standalone Access Control Keypad provides PIN-based electronic door control for commercial, residential, and industrial security applications. Part of Rosslare's AC-G4x outdoor controller family, the AC-G43 combines a 12-key illuminated keypad, integrated access control logic, and two programmable relay outputs in a narrow-profile enclosure. The controller stores up to 500 users and supports individually programmed 4-8 digit access codes without requiring a separate access control panel or network connection. Its three operating modes-Normal, Bypass, and Secure-allow access requirements to be adjusted for different security conditions. The compact design is suitable for aluminum storefront mullions, office entrances, equipment rooms, residential gates, and other controlled openings requiring standalone keypad operation.

The AC-G43 supports Normal, Secure, and Master user levels, with programmable primary and secondary PIN credentials for supported dual-code authentication. In Normal Mode, authorized users can gain entry using a single PIN; Secure Mode requires the appropriate dual-code authorization, while Bypass Mode provides an alternate access condition based on the programmed locking configuration. Rosslare's Smart Enroll and Delete functions simplify local credential administration through the keypad. The controller also features two tri-color status LEDs, an internal audible buzzer, and red-illuminated rubber keys for operation in low-light environments. Built-in optical back tamper detection identifies removal from the mounting surface, while programmable keypad lockout functions help respond to repeated invalid entry attempts.

The Rosslare AC-G43 operates from 12-24 VDC regulated power or 16-24 VAC transformer power, with manufacturer-specified consumption of 75 mA in standby and 125 mA maximum at 12 VDC, excluding connected devices. Its integrated controller provides two Form C (SPDT) relays rated at 2A each: one for electric lock control and one programmable auxiliary output. A normally open request-to-exit input supports interior exit buttons, while a separate auxiliary dry-contact input can be configured for door monitoring and additional signaling functions. The controller offers 10 auxiliary operating modes, including Door Ajar, Forced Door, Alarm Shunt, and Door Monitor. When paired with the optional Rosslare BL-D40 external sounder, the system supports additional bell, chime, siren, and signaling functions. Relay wiring can accommodate compatible fail-safe or fail-secure electric locking devices, subject to power and contact ratings.

The AC-G43 features a fully sealed, epoxy-potted polycarbonate enclosure with UV-resistant construction and an IP65 ingress protection rating for indoor and outdoor applications. The keypad measures 5.33 inches high, 1.74 inches wide, and 1.12 inches deep (135.4 44.2 28.5 mm) and weighs approximately 6.3 ounces (178 g). Its operating temperature range is -22 F to 150 F (-30 C to 65 C), with relative humidity from 0-95% non-condensing. The unit includes mounting hardware and a drilling template for installation on compatible mullions, wall surfaces, and electrical boxes. Rosslare provides a five-year limited manufacturer warranty. Unlike the AC-G44, which combines PIN entry with an integrated proximity reader, the AC-G43 is a PIN-only standalone controller. It does not include proximity card reading, Wiegand output, Ethernet communication, or an electronic lock. Installation must follow Rosslare's wiring and programming instructions, connected lock power requirements, and applicable emergency egress codes.
