The Protech SDI-77XL2-AP PIRAMID XL2 is a dual technology outdoor intrusion sensor equipped with the pet-immune Lens A-Pet, delivering a wide-angle 90 ft. x 50 ft. (27 m x 15 m) volumetric detection pattern with a modified lower detection curtain specifically designed to ignore pets and small animals while maintaining full human detection sensitivity across the entire coverage area.

Combining PROTECH's proprietary Stereo Doppler microwave technology with passive infrared sensing in an "And Gate" configuration, both technologies must activate simultaneously to generate an alarm - virtually eliminating false alarms from wildlife, wind, rain, vegetation, and temperature fluctuations.

The pet-immune wide-angle coverage is the ideal choice for sites where animals roam freely, including residential perimeters, car dealerships, equipment yards, and large open compounds that require broad area protection without nuisance alarms from pets. Powered by 10 to 28 VDC with a rugged IP65-rated aluminum housing, 10-position digital range and sensitivity controls, balanced temperature compensation, and Stereo Doppler supervision that locks the sensor into alarm upon any component failure, the SDI-77XL2-AP delivers false-alarm-free, pet-immune performance across the most demanding outdoor environments. Operating from -40°F to +158°F (-40°C to +70°C), it is built for year-round, all-weather perimeter protection.
