The Protech SDI-76XL-MW-VD is a single-technology microwave vehicular detector engineered for wide-angle approaches where reliable vehicle detection and directional filtering are essential.

Using PROTECH’s Stereo Doppler microwave design, the MW-VD version delivers accurate detection of moving vehicles while minimizing nuisance triggers from vibration and randomly moving objects.

A built-in direction-control switch lets installers select Approach-Only, Recede-Only, or Both directions to match traffic flow and reduce unwanted alarms. Housed in a rugged metal enclosure with strong EMI/RFI immunity and a protective weather shroud, the SDI-76XL-MW-VD is ideal for access roads, gate lanes, industrial yards, and staging areas that demand dependable, long-range vehicular sensing. It mounts easily using PH-4 or PH-4A universal pole brackets for flexible, field-proven installation.
