The Indoor HS (High Security) Models of the PIRAMID were developed to satisfy those commercial motion sensor applications where Ultra High Security is required. Several special high security features are incorporated into the standard PIRAMID sensors to satisfy virtually all high-security requirements specified by U.S. government and military agencies. The M version sensors of the HS Series are And Gate/Or Gate switchable and offer unequaled performance and flexibility.

  • Stereo Doppler Microwave Sensor: Two receiving channels with the ability to eliminate vibration and periodically moving objects as sources of false alarms.
  • Dual Element Infrared Sensor: Ignores normal temperature variations yet is very responsive to rapid infrared changes created by an intruder.
  • Conduit Equipped Wiring Entry: A universal conduit wiring entry fitting provides tamper-proof and environmental protection for the wiring.
  • Tamper-Proof Mounting: The heavy-duty swivel-mounting bracket is locked in position from inside a tampered mounting base.
  • Remote RF Power Shut-Off: Enables the microwave radiation to be shut-off from a remote location.
  • Remote Self-Test: Enables the sensor to be tested from a remote location in the same manner as if physically walk-tested.
  • Microprocessor Controlled: Proprietary integrated circuit design provides enhanced digital signal processing for bith microwave and passive infrared technologies.
  • Digital Range Control: Ten-position digital switch adjusts how far the commercial motion sensors detects (to its maximum range).
  • Anti-Masking: Special circuitry that detects an obstruction of the sensor’s faceplate and causes the alarm relay to change state.
  • And Gate/Or Gate Switchable: Two position switch enables the installer to field adjust whether both technologies must activate simultaneously to initiate a sensor alarm (“And Gate”) or whether either technology activating will initiate a sensor alarm (“Or Gate”).
  • Digital Sensitivity Control: Ten-position digital switch adjusts the amount of movement required to initiate an alarm condition.
  • Balanced Temperature Compensation: Stereo Doppler Microwave and Passive Infrared automatically adjust detection parameters to compensate for losses in range that occur at elevated teperatures.
  • Assorted Protection Patterns: Interchangeable Fresnel Lens Modules offer a tremendous assortment of protection patterns for optimum flexibility.
  • Stereo Doppler Supervision: A component failure will cause the sensor to lock-in alarm.
  • Master LED: Displayed on the face of the unit indicating the alarm relay status.
  • Analytic LED’s: Alarm and environmental caution LED’s for both Stereo Doppler Microwave and Passive Infrared portions are displayed on the face of the sensor. An internal switch can disable both Master and Analytic LED’s.
  • All Solid State Relay: User selectable form C relay output.
  • Metal Housing: Rugged and durable and offers maximum protection against RFI and EMI interference.
  • Swivel Mounting: Multi-directional.
