The Protech SDI-76M-HS PIRAMID is an Ultra High Security indoor intrusion sensor engineered to meet the stringent requirements of U.S. government and military agencies.
The HS Series enhances the standard PIRAMID dual-technology platform by integrating multiple special high-security features and upgraded supervision elements designed for mission-critical detection.
Using the PIRAMID architecture, the SDI-76M-HS combines Stereo Doppler microwave detection with a dual-element passive infrared sensor, providing true dual-technology discrimination. The M-version HS sensors include a field-configurable And Gate / Or Gate switch, allowing the installer to choose between maximum false-alarm rejection (AND) or maximum sensitivity (OR), depending on security protocol and room geometry. - Fluorescent Filter Module: FF-3 Fluorescent Filter is a plug-in printed circuit board module that can be field installed on the sensor in applications where nearby fluorescent lighting is affecting sensor performance. The FF-3 Fluorescent Filter is highly recommended in applications where fluorescent lighting will be left on during the protected hours and the lighting fixtures are located in the sensors field of view (within 20 ft.). And Gate/Or Gate Switchable: Two position switch enables the installer to field adjust whether both technologies must activate simultaneously to initiate a sensor alarm (“And Gate”) or whether either technology activating will initiate a sensor alarm (“Or Gate”).
