The Protech 30742203C MIRIS 3100 Active Infrared Barrier delivers commercial-grade perimeter protection in a 6.5 ft. (2 m) single face tower configuration with 4 infrared detection cells.
Featuring patented 100Hz Dual Interlaced Scanning (D.I.S.) technology, each tower integrates both transmitter and receiver functions - simplifying installation with alarm contact outputs directly on each tower for reduced wiring complexity.
The synchronized multiplexed beams support three detection modes: mono-beam, dual adjacent beam (eliminating dead zones), and temporized mono-detection for crawl intrusion at the bottom beam. Includes an integrated anti-frost thermostat heater for reliable operation from -40°F to +158°F and a built-in anti-climbing cap for tamper protection. With a maximum detection range of 656 ft. (200 m) per tower pair and 24-48VDC power supply with optional 12V battery backup, the MIRIS 3100 is the ideal solution for utilities, substations, transportation hubs, and commercial/industrial perimeter security.
