Potter / Amseco FSBS FLOW SWITCH BYPASS SWITCH

The local waterflow alarm or fire panel need not be activated in order to fill fire sprinkler systems thanks to the FSBS. The device consists of a double-gang stainless steel faceplate with a key-operated switch assembly that can be used to switch between "NORMAL," which is represented by a green LED, and "BYPASSED," which is indicated by an amber LED. To show if the flow switch is "ACTIVATED" in either mode, the FSBS also has a red LED. It is made to install electrical enclosures with two gangs that are at least 2" deep.

In both normal and bypass modes, the red "FLOW SWITCH ACTIVATED" LED offers a visual indicator of the flow switch state. By doing this, it is possible to avoid alarms that can be set off accidentally by turning the key switch back to the ready position while the flow switch is still on. It can also be used to determine which riser is flowing visually.
