The Gentex 8240PT is a 24VDC Photoelectric Smoke Detector with an Integral 135 degree (f) Thermal designed for industrial, commercial, institutional, and residential applications. Featuring a 90dBA piezo horn, a pulsing LED sensing chamber, and an LED condition indicator, the Gentex 8240PT smoke detector is covered by a 24 month warranty from the date of purchase.
The 8240PT comes outfitted with Form A/C contacts, a three position test switch, and an insect-proof screen. Boasting 2.5% sensitivity and a 5 to 1 signal to noise ratio, the Gentex 8240PT has a latching alarm circuit requiring manual restoration.
