The Fire-Lite FM998 is a flush wall-mount electromagnetic single door holder.

Often used on fire and smoke barrier doors, the FM980 is designed to hold open doors until released by a remote smoke detector or switching device. The holder includes an armature contact plate, a heavy-duty electromagnet, and a plastic enclosure.

The contact plate has an adjustable pivot mounting for quick and easy installation. The unit is most commonly used in hospitals, schools, offices, and nursing homes.
