Edwards Signaling KI-SB Detector Mounting Base - Standard

The wiring terminals on the kidde Detector mounting base are accessible from the "room side" after mounting the base to the electrical box. The bases are compatible with North American 1-gang boxes and 312" or 4" octagonal boxes that are 112" (38 mm) deep. Also compatible with European BESA and 1-gang boxes with 60,3 mm mounting centers. In addition to the above electrical boxes, the KI-SB4, KI-RB4, and KI-IB4 mount to North American 4 inch square electrical boxes. Included is the GSA-TS4 Trim Skirt, which covers the "mounting ears" on the base. The KI-ABST can only be mounted to a 4 inch square box.
