For usage in hazardous locations, the Edwards 878EX AC & 879EX DC Series are heavy-duty, high decibel vibrating horn signals.

On either side of the device, there are two mounting brackets that allow for wall attachment. For field wire installation, the housing has a 3/4" (19mm) conduit tapped hole on one side.

When a recognizable, urgent signal is needed for timing, scheduling, paging, or general alarm applications in dusty, dangerous environments. Use in tankers, grain elevators, wheat mills, paper mills, petroleum plants, gas plants, mines, and other facilities is typical.
