Specially made for use in fire alarm applications are Edwards Fire Alarm Bells. To produce the loud, resonant tones required in fire alarm systems, the gongs are composed of a special alloy of steel.

There are two gong sizes available to combat various levels of background noise.

The fire alarm bells have robust mechanisms and are of the underdome variety. Each bell comes with a mounting plate that may be installed in any typical single-gang aperture. Edwards provides a surface waterproof back box as an alternative for applications that require weatherproofing.
